About All Things Bright and Beautiful
I designed this piece for another of my Aunts, again as a 70th Birthday gift.
The piece is about 45cm x 45cm and is produced on a cornflower blue parchment style paper.
I intended to just do a bright, floral border but got a little carried away and decided to put the verses of the hymn in panels formed in a design featuring flora and fauna of the UK. The artwork is painted using gouache and the writing is done with Black Chinese Ink
